Aim of the project

Provide a flexible, user-friendly tool for the optimal control of an epidemic.

Design of the model adapted to the COVID-19.

Software based on the
Bocop optimal control toolbox.

Project started on March 20, 2020; this version 1 published on
April 30, 2020.

As always, the value of the output depends in a critical way of the
quality of data.

So, we expect that future versions could produce more accurate
results, thanks to a more complete data set.
Main features

Two types of infected populations: non hospitalized and hospitalized ones.

In both cases, infection age allowing to take into account incubation and infections phases.

Control: confinement coefficient. Possibility of limitation of
confinement duration.

Cost function: combination of confinement duration,
hospital peak and death toll.
