Current

  • Co-PI of the ActionExploratoire project "Learning to Optimize", 2024–2027
  • Participation in the project CIROQUO (Consortium Industriel de Recherche en Optimisation et QUantification d'incertitudes pour les données Onéreuses, engl.: industrial research consortium dedicated to the optimization and quantification of uncertainties for expensive data), 2021–2025

Past

  • PI of the PGMO project AESOP: Algorithms for Simulation-Based Optimization Problems. 2017–2019.
  • Participation in the PGMO project NumBER: Numerical Blackbox Optimization for EneRgy Applications between EDF R&D and the RandOpt team of Inria Saclay. 2016–2018.
  • Between October 2012 and July 2017, I coordinated the workpackage Multiobjective Optimization of the ANR project NumBBO - Analysis, Improvement and Evaluation of Numerical Blackbox Optimizers which involved the DOLPHIN team at INRIA Lille - Nord Europe, the TAO team at INRIA Saclay - Ile-de-France, the CROCUS team at Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, and various researchers from TU Dortmund University. I was also the responsible for the DOLPHIN team.
  • Also in our joint JSPS-funded project Global Research on the Framework of Evolutionary Solution Search to Accelerate Innovation with Shinshu University in Nagano and the Electro-Communication University in Tokyo, I was co-responsible for the workpackage Multiobjective Optimization. The project was funded for 2.5 years between October 2013 and March 2016.
  • Between November 2010 and October 2011, I was involved in the CNRS-Microsoft chair Optimization for Sustainable Development (OSD) at Ecole Polytechnique.
  • Between June 2009 and November 2010, I was involved in the ANR project Traffic Volume Estimation by Spatio-Temporal Inference (TRAVESTI).
  • From 2006 to mid 2009, I was involved in the SNF project IdIS - Indicator-Based Multiobjective Optimization for High-Dimensional Spaces.
  • Until the end of 2005, I was involved in the Reverse Engineering of Genetic Regulatory Networks Project (REP).
