The mid-term exam counts 1/3 of the final grade. In order to pass the final exam, 50\% of the points of this mid-term exam need to be reached.
The mid-term exam is handed out in two parts, the first one on discrete optimization was published on September 25, 2015 and needed to be handed in on Friday, October 16, 2015 (before the lecture). The second part on continuous optimization was published on October 30, 2015 and needs to be handed in on Friday, November 13, 2015.
Please hand in your solutions and in particular the source code by sending an e-mail to one of the lecturers. Use the keyword ``mid-term exam'' in the subject of the e-mail and do not forget to mention your full name.
The exact time and date of the exam will be announced during the class as early as possible and once the final schedule is out.
